Kill (song)
KILL is the 4th single of I've Sound singer, Mell. It is released on November 19, 2008, a year and almost two months after the release of her 3rd single. The title track will be used as the opening theme for Mamoru Oshii is a Japanese filmmaker, television director and writer. Famous for his philosophy-oriented storytelling, Oshii has directed a number of acclaimed anime films, including ''Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer'' (1984), ''Angel's Egg'' (1985), ...'s live-action film entitled while the B-side song On my own will be used as the ending theme for the same film. Since this single only reached #37 in the Oricon weekly charts and only charted for two weeks, this is Mell's weakest single to date. The single will come in a regular CD-only edition (GNCV-0012) and a limited CD+DVD edition (GNCV-0011) which will contain the PV for KILL. Mell (stylized as MELL) is a female Japanese singer from Sapporo, Japan, who is signed to Geneon Universal Entertainment. She is a former member of the Sapporo-based I've Sound, and one of its main vocalists. Mell has contributed vocals to several anime soundtracks including ''Black Lagoon'', ''Hayate the Combat Butler'', '' Rideback'', ''Shakugan no Shana'', and ''Sky Girls''. After battling an unknown illness over a prolonged period, Mell left I've Sound after the release of her compilation album ''Entrust: The Name of Mell'' on March 20, 2013. I've Sound
I've Sound, or simply called , is a Japanese techno/trance music production group based in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Led by Kazuya Takase, it features the talents of seasoned "sound creators" and many different vocalists, known as to their fans. They have created the theme songs for many Japanese adult games, most famously the opening "Tori no Uta" to the visual novel ''Air'' by Key. Mamoru Oshii
is a Japanese filmmaker, television director and writer. Famous for his philosophy-oriented storytelling, Oshii has directed a number of acclaimed anime films, including ''Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer'' (1984), ''Angel's Egg'' (1985), ''Patlabor 2: The Movie'' (1993), and ''Ghost in the Shell (1995 film), Ghost in the Shell'' (1995).
