Kierstan Bell
Kierstan Bell (born March 16, 2000) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Las Vegas Aces in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played college basketball at Florida Gulf Coast and Ohio State. College career Ohio State Bell was rated as the 6th overall recruit in the nation by ESPN HoopGurlz and the 18th overall by ProspectsNation.com in 2019. Bell signed to play with Ohio State out of high school. Bell had an outstanding freshman season for the Buckeyes, being named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team, Honorable Mention All-Big Ten Team, and 3-Time Big Ten Player of the Week. Following her freshman season, Bell announced that she was entering the transfer portal and leaving Ohio State. Becky Hammon
Rebecca Lynn Hammon ( rus, links=no, Бекки Хэммон; born March 11, 1977) is an American-Russian professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Las Vegas Aces of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). She previously served as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A three-time All-American basketball player for the Colorado State Rams, Hammon went on to play for the San Antonio Stars and New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and for several other teams outside the United States. Hammon, who was born and raised in the United States, became a naturalized Russian citizen in 2008 and represented the Russian national team in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. 2022 WNBA Season
The 2022 WNBA season was the 26th season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Chicago Sky were the defending champions. The WNBA's second Commissioner's Cup took place during the regular season, with the Las Vegas Aces winning over the Sky. The 2021–22 Florida Gulf Coast Eagles women's basketball team represented Florida Gulf Coast University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Eagles, led by twentieth year head coach Karl Smesko, played their home games at the Alico Arena and were members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 30–3, 15–1 in ASUN play to win the ASUN regular season. They were the first seed in the ASUN Tournament, and they defeated North Florida, Liberty, and Jacksonville State to win the tournament championship and earn the conference's automatic berth in the NCAA tournament. The 2019–20 Ohio State Buckeyes women's basketball team represented the Ohio State University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. Meniscus Tear
A tear of a meniscus is a rupturing of one or more of the fibrocartilage strips in the knee called menisci. When doctors and patients refer to "torn cartilage" in the knee, they actually may be referring to an injury to a meniscus at the top of one of the tibiae. Menisci can be torn during innocuous activities such as walking or squatting. They can also be torn by traumatic force encountered in sports or other forms of physical exertion. The traumatic action is most often a twisting movement at the knee while the leg is bent. In older adults, the meniscus can be damaged following prolonged 'wear and tear'. Especially acute injuries (typically in younger, more active patients) can lead to displaced tears which can cause mechanical symptoms such as clicking, catching, or locking during motion of the joint.
