David Anthony Love Jr. (born February 7, 1967) is an American DJ and rapper better known by his stage name Kid Capri. Early life Kid Capri's humble roots can be traced back to his parents' home in the Bronx, where ten year old David Anthony Love would scratch records on his father's old Zenith stereo system. As soon as he was old enough, he hit the pavement and caught a buzz hustling his DJ mixtapes on the streets and performing local gigs. Career Grammy Award Winning DJ and Producer, Kid Capri, is globally known as an originator, innovator, and pioneer of DJ Culture. Paid Dues
Paid Dues was an annual hip hop festival that took place in California, until the summer of 2006, when it was announced that the festival would travel to multiple locations. The last festival took place in 2013. Paid Dues was an event presented by Murs 3:16 in association with Guerilla Union. On March 11, 2006 the first Paid Dues festival sold out, with over 5,000 concert goers packing the Shrine Expo Center in Los Angeles. A disc jockey, more commonly abbreviated as DJ, is a person who plays recorded music for an audience. The Trackmasters are an American hip hop production duo composed of music producers Poke (Jean-Claude Olivier) and Tone (Samuel Barnes), best known for their commercial hit records in the mid-late 1990s and early 2000s. ''Who's the Man?'' is a 1993 thriller buddy comedy film directed by Ted Demme in his feature film directing debut. The film stars ''Yo! Boogie Down Productions (BDP) was an American hip hop group originally composed of KRS-One, D-Nice, and DJ Scott La Rock. DJ Scott La Rock was murdered on August 27, 1987, five months after the release of BDP's debut album, ''Criminal Minded''.
