"Kick It Out" is a song by electronica/rock duo Boom Boom Satellites. The song was originally included as the lead track on their fifth album '' On'' and later as the first track on their greatest hits album '' 19972007''. In 2009, the Boom Boom Satellites collaborated with Tahj Mowry and Flo Rida to produce a new version of the song featuring new lyrics sung by Mowry and Flo Rida. Co-written by Marquist Johnson and Jonathan Perry. Boom Boom Satellites
were a Japanese electronic music duo consisting of guitarist and vocalist Michiyuki Kawashima and bassist and programmer Masayuki Nakano. They were signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan, with whom they had released all of their albums in Japan. History Kawashima and Nakano formed the band in 1990, having met at university and debuted in Europe as a rock unit in 1997. According to an interview, the name originated from a song by Sigue Sigue Sputnik. In 1995, the group's music debuted in Japan on a compilation album released by Torema Records, also affiliated with Untitled Records. Initially scheduled for release on September 19, 2012, it contains remixes of songs from their 15-year-long career, including the American exclusive track "Kick It Out (Boom Boom Satellites song), Kick It Out" featuring Tahj Mowry and Flo Rida (co-written by Marquist Johnson and Johnathan Perry) and the winning fan remix of their most recent single "Broken Mirror". The release of ''Remixed'' was postponed by the band due to issues concerning the album artwork, as announced on their Facebook page.
