Kiana Johnson
Kiana Johnson (born August 23, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for Valur women's basketball, Valur of the Úrvalsdeild kvenna (basketball), Úrvalsdeild kvenna. She played college basketball for Michigan State Spartans women's basketball, Michigan State and Virginia Union Panthers, Virginia Union, where she was named the NCAA Division II women's basketball tournament, NCAA DII Player of the Year in 2016. In 2021, she won the Úrvalsdeild kvenna (basketball), Icelandic championship as a member of Valur women's basketball, Valur. College career Johnson started her college career with Michigan State Spartans women's basketball, Michigan State in 2011. She transferred to Virginia Union Panthers, Virginia Union in 2014 and sat out the 2014–2015 season due to NCAA Transfer Rules. Úrvalsdeild kvenna; English: Women's Premier League, known as Subway deild kvenna for sponsorship reasons, is the highest basketball competition among women's clubs in Iceland. It is administrated by the Icelandic Basketball Federation. It was founded in 1952 and, until 2007, it was known as 1. deild kvenna (English: Women's First division). Breiðablik Women's Basketball
The Breiðablik women's basketball team, commonly known as Breiðablik, is the women's basketball department of the Breiðablik multi-sport club. It is based in Kópavogur, Iceland. As of 2018–2019 season its plays in the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild kvenna. History During their first season in the Úrvaldeild in 1994–95, Breiðablik won the national championship after beating Keflavík in the finals. In 2017 the club won promotion from 1. deild kvenna to the Úrvalsdeild. The Keflavík women's basketball team, commonly known as Keflavík, is the women's basketball department of Keflavík ÍF (Keflavík, íþrótta- og ungmennafélag), based in the town of Reykjanesbær in Iceland.
