Ukrainian Basketball Superleague
The Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague (USL) ( uk, Українська баскетбольна суперліга) is the first-tier level of professional basketball league in Ukraine. Established in 1992, the league is currently contested by 10 clubs. It is a tier above the Ukrainian Higher League and allows for one season from the Higher League each season to be promoted. The league exists out of a regular season, in which team play for playoff-seeding, followed by playoffs to determine the Ukrainian champion. Budivelnyk is the most successful team in league history with 10 titles. The winners of the Superleague qualify for the qualifying rounds of the Basketball Champions League (BCL). 2020–21 season Teams 11 teams are in the competition. Ternopil is new team in the league. Kobrat is a Finnish professional basketball team from Lapua. The team plays in Korisliiga, the highest tier of Finnish basketball. Brandon Boggs (born May 2, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Club Social y Deportivo Urupan of the Liga Uruguaya de Básquetbol. Early life Boggs was born in Greenville, South Carolina. Professional career During the 2015–16 season, Boggs played for the Kongsberg Miners and averaged 20.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. LaRon Dendy (born December 18, 1988) is an American basketball player for Kharkivski Sokoly. Dendy was an All-American college player at Middle Tennessee State University before beginning his professional career in 2012. Career Dendy, a power forward and center from Greenville, South Carolina, originally committed to Clemson. He instead went to Indian Hills Community College and played two years for the NJCAA school. He then went to Iowa State for the 2009–10 season, where he averaged 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in a reserve role. Following the season, Dendy announced plans to transfer. With one year of college eligibility left, Dendy landed at Middle Tennessee. He had a strong year, averaging 14.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and leading the Blue Raiders to the Sun Belt Conference regular season title.
