Khamzat Chimaev
Khamzat Khizarovich Chimaev ( ce, Хизаран Хамзат; russian: Хамзат Хизарович Чимаев; born 1 May 1994), is a Swedish professional mixed martial artist and freestyle wrestler who competes in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He formerly competed in Brave Combat Federation. In wrestling, Chimaev is a three-time Swedish National champion. As of 12 April 2022, he is #3 in the UFC welterweight rankings. Early life and education Chimaev who belongs to the teip Enganoy, was born in todays Chechnya, which at that time was the de facto independent Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
