Khalid Ismail
Khalid Ismaïl Mubarak ( ar, خالد اسماعيل مبارك; born 7 July 1965) is a UAE football (soccer) player who played as a midfielder for the United Arab Emirates national football team and Al-Nasr Club in Dubai. He played in the 1990 FIFA World Cup The 1990 FIFA World Cup was the 14th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams. It was held from 8 June to 8 July 1990 in Italy, the second country to host the event for a second time (the first being Me ... and scored the first World Cup goal for his country against West Germany. While it has been reported that he received a Rolls-Royce car from the UAE royal family for his performance at the 1990 World Cup, Ismail stated in a 2010 interview that he never received one. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
