Khae Rai Intersection
Khae Rai ( th, แคราย, ) is the name of a major road intersection and its surrounding neighborhood in downtown Nonthaburi, a northern suburb city of Bangkok and the administrative seat of Nonthaburi province. Formed by the crossing of Ngam Wong Wan/Rattanathibet and Tiwanon roads, it lies within Bang Kraso subdistrict of Mueang Nonthaburi district, and is home to government offices of both the city and the province as well as commercial and residential developments. It will serve as a mass transit interchange between the MRT Purple Line and the under-construction Pink Line, as well as the planned Brown Line. Bang Kraso ( th, บางกระสอ, ) is one of the ten subdistricts (''tambon'') of Mueang Nonthaburi District, in Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. The subdistrict is bounded by (clockwise from north) Tha Sai, Bang Khen, Talat Khwan, Suan Yai, and across the Chao Phraya River, Sai Ma and Tha It subdistricts. Brown Line (Bangkok)
The MRT Brown Line is a 22.1 km rapid transit line in Bangkok, Thailand proposed monorail mass transit line from Nonthaburi Civic Centre, Nonthaburi Province to Lam Sali intersection, Bang Kapi District. 20 stations are proposed for the line and the expected cost for the project is 48 billion baht. The line has been integrated for 7.2km with the N2 expressway project and a feasibility study has been completed. The MRT Brown line will interchange with 7 other mass transit lines. The MRT Brown line investment plan was approved by the MRTA Board in June 2019 for final detailed design, which was expected to be completed by December 2020. However, the detailed design will take longer and is not expected to be completed until September 2022. Phra Nang Klao Bridge
Phra Nang Klao Bridge ( th, สะพานพระนั่งเกล้า, , ) is a bridge over Chao Phraya River in the area of Mueang Nonthaburi District, Nonthaburi Province. In addition to crossing Chao Phraya River, the bridge also connects the area between Sai Ma and Bang Kraso with Suan Yai Subdistricts together along Rattanathibet Road (Highway 302). At present, there is a parallel bridge straddling over the bridge. Phra Nang Klao Bridge started construction in 1983 and completed 1985 (along with Pathum Thani Bridge) by the Department of Rural Roads (DRR), with a total budget of 505.77 million baht.
