Kfar Mordechai ( he, כְּפַר מָרְדְּכַי) is a moshav in central Israel. Located about 30 kilometers south of Tel Aviv, between Ashdod, Gedera and Yavne, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gederot Regional Council. In it had a population of . Gederot Regional Council ( he, מועצה אזורית גדרות, ''Mo'atza Azorit Gderot'') is a regional council (Israel), regional council in the Central District (Israel), Central District of Israel. It is located between Ashdod, Yavne and Gedera and covers an area of 13,000 dunams. Bashshit
Bashshayt ( ar, بشيت), also Beshshayt, was a Palestinian Arab village in the Ramle Subdistrict, located southwest of Ramla about half a mile from wadi Bashshit. Archaeological artifacts from the village attest to habitation in the Early Islamic period and 12th and 13th centuries. Mentioned by Arab geographers from the 13th century onward, there was a tomb for the ''Neby Shayt'' ("prophet Seth") in the village. Like much the rest of Palestine, Bashshayt was ruled by the Crusaders, Mamluks, Ottomans and the British. It was depopulated at the beginning of the 1948 Palestine war during Operation Barak. A moshav ( he, מוֹשָׁב, plural ', lit. Agi Mishol ( he, אגי משעול; born October 20, 1947) is an Israeli poet. Considered by many to be one of Israel's most prominent and popular poets, Mishol's work has been published in several languages, and has won various awards including the Zbigniew Herbert International Literary Award and the Yehuda Amichai prize for literature. Biography Agi (Agnes) Fried (later Mishol) was born in Cehu Silvaniei, Transylvania, Romania, to Hungarian-speaking Jewish parents who survived the Holocaust.
