Kezang Wangmo
Kezang Wangmo is a Bhutanese politician, actress, poet, singer, dancer and goodwill ambassador for organic farming in Bhutan. Kezang was born in Paro District, western part of Bhutan, where she learned to act at her school. Professional career Before becoming an actress, Kezang is recognized as a singer from her country, with a hit local-song "A La La Ngi Sem". She starred in various films from her country and rapidly gained fame which brought her to win 2 national awards, including the best newcomer, and best female lead actor for her role in ''Sem Gi Damtse''. Political career She joined politics in 2013. She was elected to the National Assembly of Bhutan as a candidate of People's Democratic Party from Dokar-Sharpa constituency in 2013 Bhutanese National Assembly election. Bhutan
Bhutan (; dz, འབྲུག་ཡུལ་, Druk Yul ), officially the Kingdom of Bhutan,), is a landlocked country in South Asia. Paro District
Paro District (Dzongkha: སྤ་རོ་རྫོང་ཁག་; Wylie: ''Spa-ro rdzong-khag'') is a district (''dzongkhag''), valley, river and town (population 20,000) in Bhutan. It is one of the most historic valleys in Bhutan. Both trade goods and invading Tibetans came over the pass at the head of the valley, giving Paro the closest cultural connection with Tibet of any Bhutanese district. The dominant language in Paro is Dzongkha, the national language. Paro contains the only international airport in Bhutan, Paro Airport. National Assembly Of Bhutan
The National Assembly is the elected lower house of Bhutan's bicameral Parliament which also comprises the Druk Gyalpo (Dragon King) and the National Council. It is the more powerful house. The People's Democratic Party ( dz, མི་སེར་དམངས་གཙོའི་ཚོགས་པ།; Wylie: ''mi-ser dmangs-gtsoi tshogs-pa''; PDP) is one of the major political parties in Bhutan, formed on 24 March 2007. The founder president of this party is Sangay Ngedup, the former prime minister and agriculture minister of the Royal Government of Bhutan. The current leader of the party is Tshering Tobgay. The People's Democratic Party submitted its application for registration on 6 August 2007 and thus became the first political party in Bhutan to do so. Druk Phuensum Tshogpa ( dz, འབྲུག་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ།; Wylie:'' 'brug phun-sum tshog-pa''; translation: Bhutan Peace and Prosperity Party; abbr. DPT) is one of the major political parties in Bhutan. It was formed on 25 July 2007 as a merger of the All People's Party and the Bhutan People's United Party, which were both short-lived. The working committee of the merged entity, headed by the former home minister, Jigmi Yoezer Thinley, decided on the name for the new party. On 15 August 2007, Jigmi Yoezer Thinley was elected president of the party, and the party applied for registration, thus becoming the second political party in Bhutan to do so. ''The Destiny'' is a Bhutanese Dzongkha language film written by Tshewang Rinzin and directed by Kezang P Jigme. This film was released on August 9, 2010. Plot Based on a true life story, “The Destiny” is the journey of a young boy who is out to find his independence and more importantly- his father. A father abandons his wife and unborn child to find greener pastures elsewhere, namely- the capital city. The child is born soon after and it is a son. He is brought up by his mother in the East. Following the death of his mother the boy now aspires to go to Thimphu with one wish- to see his father. If I talk little about a film, a young boy (Nguldrub Dorji) who is orphan at a very young age and goes through many hardships.
