Kew Baptist Church
Kew Baptist Church was an independent Evangelicalism, evangelical fellowship affiliated to the Association of Grace Baptist Churches (South East). The church met, until its closure in 2020, in Windsor Road in Kew in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, south west London. The church was founded in 1861 in Richmond, as Salem Baptist Church.Salem Baptist Church's archives, dating back to 1861, are held at the Surrey History Centre. The Association of Grace Baptist Churches (South East) (AGBC(SE)) is an association of churches in London and South East England. As of 2022 there are 65 member churches in the association. All the members of the association are independent Baptist churches of an evangelical persuasion. All member churches with income of £100k or less are Excepted Charities. The association is a registered charity and is a corporate partner of Affinity. As part of its work it provides advice and support for its members. London Borough Of Richmond Upon Thames
The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames () in southwest London forms part of Outer London and is the only London borough on both sides of the River Thames. It was created in 1965 when three smaller council areas amalgamated under the London Government Act 1963. Surrey History Centre
Surrey History Centre in Woking, Surrey, England, collects and rescues archives and printed materials relating to Surrey's past and present. Building and facilities The present building was conceived in the mid-1990s, driven by the need, recognised by Surrey County Council since the late 1970s, to replace the former Surrey Record Office, then in Kingston upon Thames. The building concept was influenced by the West Sussex Record Office under construction at the time. The construction project was an early recipient of Heritage Lottery Fund funding, being awarded £2.75M in December 1995. Richmond Green
Richmond Green is a recreation area near the centre of Richmond, a town of about 20,000 inhabitants situated in south-west London. Owned by the Crown Estate, it is leased to the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The Green, which has been described as "one of the most beautiful urban greens surviving anywhere in England", is roughly square in shape and its open grassland, framed with broadleaf trees, extends to roughly twelve acres (5 hectares).
