''Kevin Spencer'' is an animated Canadian television series developed by Greg Lawrence, which originally aired on CTV and The Comedy Network. The show is aimed at adult audiences, and takes its name from the main character, taking place in Ottawa, Ontario. It is based on the shorts of the same name that premiered on Mondo Media's flash cartoon site and CTV in 1999. It also aired on Burly Bear Network and Spike TV in the US. Characters The show revolves around the everyday happenings of the Spencer family. Kevin himself is a 16-year-old, chain-smoking, alcoholic, cough syrup-addicted, sociopathic juvenile delinquent. He lives with his parents, whom he often shows ambivalence towards, and is a student at a local high school, although he rarely attends school. Kevin Spencer (musician)
Kevin Spencer (born December 22) is a Canadian musician. He began his career in music as a member of the Hamilton, Ontario pop band The Misunderstood, one of the 1996 CFNY New Music Search Finalists. In 1997, after The Misunderstood broke up, Spencer moved to Vancouver, British Columbia as a hired musician for Rymes with Orange, penning the single ''Standing in the Rain''. Later that year, after leaving RWO, Kevin joined the band Mudgirl, who had a North American radio hit with ''This Day'', which garnered them a spot on Lilith Fair, medium rotation on MuchMusic, and consequently in Rolling Stone. Between the years 1999 and 2001, he continued performing, recording and touring with Mudgirl, The Kim Band, Rymes with Orange, Mezzanine, and others contributing guitar, bass, drums, programming and voice. Dynasty (band)
Dynasty was an American band, based in Los Angeles, California, created by producer and SOLAR Records label head Dick Griffey, and record producer Leon Sylvers III. The band was known for their dance/pop numbers during the late 1970s and 1980s. Keyboardist Kevin Spencer and vocalists Nidra Beard and Linda Carriere originally comprised the group. History and overview Dynasty was essentially the brainchild of Griffey and producer Sylvers, a former member of the Sylvers family group, who had achieved much popularity in the early to mid-1970s. A principal architect of the SOLAR sound, Sylvers had become the in-house producer in 1978 for the label (whose name stood for "Sound of Los Angeles Records"), and it was in this capacity that he brought the members of Dynasty together. Kevin Spencer (born November 2, 1953) is an American football coach. Coaching career Early years In 1975, Spencer coached wrestling and lacrosse at the State University of New York as a graduate assistant. From 1976 to 1979 he coached at Detroit County Day High School in Birmingham, Michigan. Spencer spent the next two years as a graduate assistant at Cornell University. After coaching for one season at Gilman School in Baltimore, Maryland, Spencer received a job coaching at Ithaca College. From 1981 to 1985, he was the head freshman coach and in 1986 he served as the offensive coordinator.
