Kevin Riley (born January 27, 1987) is a former American football quarterback for the California Golden Bears. He played for California from 2007 to 2010. High school Riley was born on January 27, 1987, to parents Faustin and Rhonda Riley in Portland, Oregon. He attended Beaverton High School, where he played football. Riley was considered the top player in Oregon as a senior by Rivals.com and SuperPrep magazine. He was named Portland metro area player of the year after passing for 2,580 yards with just six interceptions on 239 attempts. He was team MVP and vice president of his class as a junior and senior. College career 2007 Riley made his first career start for the injured Nate Longshore in California's homecoming game against Oregon State. Riley passed for 294 yards, two touchdowns, and rushed for a touchdown but California lost the game when he scrambled instead of throwing the ball away to set up a field goal to tie the game. Kevin Christopher Riley (born November 16, 1987) is an American politician. A Democrat, he serves as the New York City Councilmember for the 12th district. The district includes Wakefield, Olinville, Edenwald, Eastchester, Williamsbridge, Baychester, Co-op City in The Bronx. Early life and education Riley grew up and lives in Baychester, The Bronx. He graduated from Mount Saint Michael Academy in Wakefield before attending State University of New York at Old Westbury where he received a B.A. and an M.P.A. from Metropolitan College of New York. He has two daughters and one son. Career Prior to running for office, Riley was an aide to Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie for ten years. Kevin Buchanan (born Kevin Lord Riley) is a fictional character from the American soap opera ''One Life to Live''. The character is the first child born to original lead protagonists Victoria Lord and Joe Riley. Casting The character of Kevin Buchanan was originated by child actor Morgan K. Melis from 1976 until 1982. In 1982, the role was recast twice; first with Chris Cunningham and then again with Jonathan Brandis. The role was recast a fourth time in 1983 with actor Ryan Janis until the actor's exit in 1990. That same year, Matthew Vipond was placed into the role; the role was later recast with actor Joey Thrower. In 1992, Thrower was replaced by Kirk Geiger. Geiger stayed with the soap until October 17, 1994. Jack Armstrong succeeded Geiger on November 8, 1994 until his exit a year later in 1995.
