Kevin Rader (politician)
Kevin Rader (born October 6, 1968) is an American politician from Florida. A Democrat, he represented parts of northern Broward and southern Palm Beach Counties in the Florida House from 2008 to 2010 and again from 2012 to 2016. He was elected to one term in the Florida Senate, serving from 2016 until he retired in 2020. Early life and education Rader was born in Detroit, Michigan, and moved to Florida in 1972, where he graduated from Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs in 1986. After high school, he attended Boston University, graduating with his bachelor's degree in 1990. Career Florida House of Representatives In 2000, when incumbent State Representative Debby Sanderson ran for a seat in the Florida Senate rather than seeking re-election, an open seat was created in the 91st District, based in Broward County and Palm Beach County. Tina Polsky
Tina Scott Polsky (born May 4, 1968) is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Florida Senate, representing the 29th district since 2020. Her Senate district includes parts of southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties. Polsky also served one term in the Florida House of Representatives, representing parts of western and southern Palm Beach County from 2018 to 2020. Electoral history In 2018, Polsky was elected without opposition to Florida House District 81. After Senator Kevin Rader announced he would retire in 2020, Polsky ran to succeed him.
