Kevin Harvey (ice Hockey)
Kevin Harvey (born September 14, 1984) is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger playing for the Sydney Ice Dogs of the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). Career Harvey was selected by the Calgary Flames in the ninth round (270th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He has previously played for the Syracuse Crunch and the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League before playing abroad with HC Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga. After the 2013-14 CHL season, 2013–14 season which he split between England, English club, Coventry Blaze of the Elite Ice Hockey League and the Rapid City Rush of the Central Hockey League, Harvey returned to sign with his fourth ECHL club, the Evansville IceMen on August 13, 2014. Midway through the season Harvey lead the league with 17 major penalties and was traded on February 2, 2015, to the Rapid City Rush in exchange for future considerations. Sydney Ice Dogs
The Sydney Ice Dogs (formally ''Western Sydney Ice Dogs'') is an Australian semi-professional ice hockey team from Sydney, New South Wales. Formed in 2002, the Ice Dogs are a member of the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). The Ice Dogs are two time Goodall Cup champions. History Foundation blocks Top level ice hockey in Western Sydney dates back to 1981. The Blacktown Flyers were a foundation member of the New South Wales Superleague (NSWSL), playing out of Blacktown Ice Arena. Following the closure of the Warringah Ice Skating Rink in the '90s, NSWSL powerhouse, Warringah Bombers relocated to Blacktown. Blacktown in-turn withdrew support for the Flyers and a semi-private owned team, the Blacktown Bullets, were founded and joined the league in place of the Flyers. In 1993 the NSWSL's collapsed and Blacktown joined the newly formed East Coast Super League (ECSL) in 1994 and competed in the ECSL until its own demise in 1999. Elite Ice Hockey League
The Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), sometimes referred to as the British Elite League or, for sponsorship reasons, the Viaplay Elite League, is an ice hockey league in the United Kingdom. Formed in 2003 following the demise of the Ice Hockey Superleague, it is the highest level of ice hockey competition in the United Kingdom. The league operate three competitions for members; the play-offs determine the national champion for the season, following a regular season league competition for which separate champions are also crowned, and which selects and seeds the teams in the play-offs. Finally, a stand-alone cup competition, the Challenge Cup, is also held annually, beginning with the group stages followed by a knock-out format. Kingston Voyageurs
The Kingston Voyageurs were a Junior "A" ice hockey team from Kingston, Ontario, Canada. They were a part of the Ontario Junior A Hockey League. History The Voyageurs entered the Metro Junior B Hockey League in 1974. The Voyageurs filled the Junior "B" void left when the Kingston Frontenacs jumped from the Eastern Junior B Hockey League in 1972 to the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League and then the Ontario Major Junior Hockey League in 1973 as the Kingston Canadians. The Voyageurs continued with the league when it became the Metro Junior A Hockey League in 1991 and stuck around until 1995. In 1995, the team jumped to the Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League.
