Kevin Burns (June 18, 1955September 27, 2020), was an American television and film producer, director, and screenwriter. His work can be seen on A&E, National Geographic Channel, E!, Animal Planet, AMC, Bravo, WE tv, Travel Channel, Lifetime, and The History Channel. Burns created and executive-produced more than 800 hours of television programming. Biography Early life Born on June 18, 1955, Burns grew up in Niskayuna, New York. Raised Roman Catholic, he graduated from St. Helen’s School before attending Niskayuna High School. In 1977, he graduated cum laude from Hamilton College. Kevin James Burns (born 7 July 1960) is a New Zealand former cricketer. He played 58 first-class and 31 List A matches, all but one of them for Otago between the 1980–81 and 1991–92 seasons. Kevin Bertrand Burns (born March 3, 1980) is a former American mixed martial artist who previously competed in the Welterweight division. A professional competitor since 2006, he has formerly competed for the UFC. Background Originally from Glidden, Iowa, Burns was a talented football player, competing at the collegiate level. Burns later began training in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 18, before transitioning into Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and then finally mixed martial arts. Mixed martial arts career Early career With only ten months of training, Burns made his amateur MMA debut, defeating Josh Neer. Kevin Burns (born November 22, 1958 in Miami Beach, Florida) is an American realtor, business owner, and former mayor of North Miami, Florida, from 2005 to 2009. Early life and career Burns graduated from Miami Edison High School and Miami Dade College. He is a real estate broker for Turnberry International Realty, and owner of North Miami KB’s Christmas Trees. Mayor Burns was elected mayor of North Miami in May 2005. Burns' campaign and administration mainly focused on education. His administration helped construct an agreement between the City of North Miami and the Miami-Dade County School Board that brought four new schools to North Miami by 2010. He was term-limited, and was not be able to seek reelection in 2009. Burns ran for mayor of North Miami again in 2014 to replace mayor Lucie Tondreau, who was suspended from office. Kevin Burns (born March 26, 1985) is an American soccer player who most recently played for Carolina RailHawks in the North American Soccer League. Career College and Amateur Burns played college soccer at the University of Connecticut from 2003 to 2006. During the 2003 and 2004 collegiate off seasons, he played for the Bradenton Academics in the fourth division USL Premier Development League; in 2006, he played for the Westchester Flames. Professional Burns was drafted in the fourth round (50th overall) by Columbus Crew in the 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft., but instead of signing with Columbus he spent the 2007 season with the Rochester Raging Rhinos in the USL First Division. Burns eventually signed with Columbus for the 2008 season, but sat out the season with an ankle injury. Kevin Robert Burns (born 19 September 1955) is a British former swimmer. He competed in two events at the 1976 Summer Olympics, becoming the first black swimmer to represent Great Britain at the Olympic Games.
