Kevin Brown (born 18 February 1992) is an American bandy player, playing professionally in clubs in Sweden for many years. He played with Ljusdals BK for six years. Career Club career Brown is a youth product of Gustavsberg and has represented their senior team and Ljusdal, and Peace & Love City. International career Brown grew up in Sweden but choose to represent United States national bandy team. Borlänge/Stora Tuna BK is a bandy club in Borlänge in Sweden. It was founded as ''Borlänge-Stora Tuna BK'' in 1981, when two clubs combined. The club was usually called Borlänge Bandy, until 2016, when it changed to the name ''Peace & Love City'' because of a cooperation with the Peace & Love cultural festival. The full legal name is still ''Ideella föreningen Borlänge-Stora Tuna Bandyklubb med firma Borlänge-Stora Tuna BK''. Since 2019, the club is again called Borlänge/Stora Tuna BK. The club has been playing in the second level league of Swedish bandy, Allsvenskan, in the 2010/11 season and again since the 2012/13 season. Borlänge Bandy has a cooperation agreement with the Somalia national bandy team. USA National Bandy Team
United States men's national bandy team has been taking part in the Bandy World Championships since 1985, being the first nation to join apart from the four teams which had so far participated in almost all the world championships; the Soviet Union, Sweden, Finland and Norway. However, the American team has yet to make it to the championship medals. The country also has a United States women's national bandy team. This article deals chiefly with the men's national team. Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface (either indoors or outdoors) while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal. 2016 Bandy World Championship
Bandy World Championship 2016, the XXXVI Bandy World Championship, was held with Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia, as host region. Most of the games was played at the Volga-Sport-Arena in Ulyanovsk. Because of its higher spectator capacity, the group stage matches between Russia and Sweden and between Russia and Kazakhstan were played at Trud Stadium, which also hosted one semi-final and the final. Some games were played in nearby Dimitrovgrad at Stadium Stroitel.
