Kevin Anderson (politician)
Kevin John Anderson is an Australian politician. Anderson is the New South Wales Minister for Lands and Water and the Minister for Hospitality and Racing in the Perrottet ministry since December 2021. Anderson is also a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Tamworth for the Nationals since 26 March 2011. Anderson had previously served as the Minister for Better Regulation and Innovation in the second Berejiklian and Perrottet ministries between April 2019 and December 2021. Early years and background Anderson moved to Tamworth, aged 30 years. He spent eleven years as a journalist and news reader with the local Prime Television station. He left Prime in 2004 to work with Hunter New England Area Health Service as a communications and business development manager. The premier of New South Wales is the head of government in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The Government of New South Wales follows the Westminster Parliamentary System, with a Parliament of New South Wales acting as the legislature. The premier is appointed by the governor of New South Wales, and by modern convention holds office by his or her ability to command the support of a majority of members of the lower house of Parliament, the Legislative Assembly. Before Federation in 1901 the term "prime minister of New South Wales" was also used. Andrew Stoner
Andrew John Stoner (born 14 January 1960), an Australian former politician, was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Oxley from 1999 state election to 2015. Stoner was the Leader of the New South Wales National Party from 2003 to 2014, and Deputy Premier of New South Wales from 2011 to 2014. He was the Minister for Trade and Investment, and Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Services, between 2011 and 2014; and the Minister for Tourism and Major Events, the Minister for Small Business, and the Minister for the North Coast, between April and October 2014 in the Baird government. 2007 New South Wales State Election
Elections for the 54th Parliament of New South Wales were held on Saturday, 24 March 2007. The entire Legislative Assembly and half of the Legislative Council was up for election. The Labor Party led by Morris Iemma won a fourth four-year term against the Liberal-National coalition led by Peter Debnam. Labor's substantial majority survived the election almost intact. The Liberals succeeded in taking two independent-held seats and one Labor-held seat, whilst the Nationals and an independent each took one Labor-held seat.
