Ketric Sanford (born July 6, 1978) is a former American football running back. A native of Corsicana, Texas, Sanford played high school football at Corsicana High School under coach Tom Wilson from 1993 to 1995. Sanford carried the ball 1,058 times and, as of 2020, was sixth all-time in Texas high school football behind Johnathan Gray, Jacquizz Rodgers, Robert Strait, Billy Sims, and Eno Benjamin. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. Eno Benjamin (born April 13, 1999) is an American football running back for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arizona State and was drafted by the Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Early years Benjamin attended Wylie East in Wylie, Texas. During his high school career, he rushed for 7,546 yards and 111 touchdowns. Benjamin originally committed to the University of Iowa to play college football but changed to Arizona State University. The 2000 NFL Draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur U.S. college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 15– 16, 2000, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year. Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. History C-USA was founded in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, two Division I conferences that did not sponsor football. The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention. Billy Ray Sims (born September 18, 1955) is a former American college and professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons during the 1980s.
