Ketan Anand
Ketan Anand is an Indian film director. He is son of film-maker Chetan Anand (director), Chetan Anand and actress Uma Anand. He is the cousin of director Shekhar Kapur. He has directed the movies Toote Khilone and ''Shart'' and was associate producer of Heer Raanjha Personal life In early years of his life, Ketan and his brother Vivek Anand were featured in a song alongside Dev Anand and Sheila Ramani from the movie Funtoosh. Watching his father make films, Ketan decided to forgo administration as his major and concentrated on theater. He graduated from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. He co-authored the book ''Chetan Anand: The Poetics of Film'' with his mother. In 2008, Ketan Anand is all set to revive his father, Chetan Anand's banner Himalaya Films with a psychological love story titled Petrol Pump. International Film Festival Of India
The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), founded in 1952, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. Funtoosh
''Funtoosh'' is a 1956 Hindi film directed by Chetan Anand. The film stars Dev Anand, Sheila Ramani and K. N. Singh. It was the ninth highest-grossing film of 1956, and was declared a "Hit". The music of the movie was an instant hit and songs such as "Dukhi Man Mere" were topping Binaca Geet Mala. Other hits were "Woh Dekhe To Unki Inayat", "Hamen Aaj Koi Na Chhediyo", "Ae Meri Topi Palat Ke Aa" and "Denewala Jab bhi Deta". The Songs cemented the bond of S. D. Burman, Dev Anand and Kishore Kumar. Sheila Ramani
Sheila Ramani (2 March 1932 – 15 July 2015), also known as Sheila Kewalramani, was an Indian actress who was introduced into Bollywood by the film-maker Chetan Anand. She is known for her role in the movie ''Taxi Driver''. She was born in Sindh and was one of the few actresses from Sindh to join the Indian film industry. Personal life Ramani was crowned Miss Shimla in the early 1950s. She was mostly seen as an upper-class mod girl in the roles she portrayed in many movies. She played the lead in a Pakistani film. Ramani went back to India and starred in further movies in Mumbai. In the later part of her career, she was reduced to obscure films. Later on in her life Ramani married and moved to the United States. She lived her last years in Mhow, a small cantonment town in the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. She died on 15 July 2015.
