Jalal Keshmiri
Jalal Ali "Joe" Kashmiri, better known as Jalal Keshmiri ( fa, جلال کشمیری, b. 25 March 1938 – d. 6 February 1999) was an Iranian shot putter and discus thrower. Between 1966 and 1974 he won two gold, three silver and one bronze medal in these events at the Asian Games. He competed in the discus at the 1968 Summer Olympics and placed 20th. Biography Keshmiri started as an association football goalkeeper. During one game, a practicing athlete threw a discus that almost hit Keshmiri's head. Angry Keshmiri threw it back and was noticed by the athletics coach. By the age of 19 he switched from football to athletics. Kamy Keshmiri
Kamy Keshmiri (born January 23, 1969) is a retired male discus thrower from the United States. He is best known for winning the gold medal in the men's discus throw event at the 1989 Summer Universiade in Duisburg, West Germany. Keshmiri set his personal best (51.28 metres) at the 1988 World Junior Championships in Athletics in Sudbury, Ontario on July 27, 1988. He also won three NCAA discus titles at the University of Nevada at Reno. His father, Jalal, was born in Iran and represented Iran in the 1968 Olympics. When he was at Reno High School, he set the National High School Record in the Discus Throw. Masoud Keshmiri
Masoud Keshmiri ( fa, مسعود کشمیری) was a member of the People's Mujahedin of Iran (MEK) who infiltrated the Islamic Republican Party (IRP) and came up through the ranks, reaching the position of secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, before planting an incendiary bomb in his briefcase that blew up the Prime Minister's office in 1981. Victims of the explosion were President Mohammad-Ali Rajaei and Prime Minister Mohammad-Javad Bahonar among others. At first, it was thought that Keshmiri himself died in the explosion, however it was later revealed that he slipped through the dragnet.
