Kerwin Duinmeijer
Kerwin Duinmeijer (born Kerwin Lucas, though he later took on the surname of his foster parents; 5 June 1968 – 21 August 1983) was a Dutch teenager of Netherlands Antilles, Netherlands Antillean descent who was murdered in an act of senseless violence. Though still a point of contention, it has generally been accepted in the past that racism played a major role in his murder. Death Duinmeijer, 15 years old, was stabbed outside a snackbar in the Damstraat, Amsterdam by 16-year-old Nico Bodemeijer, a Dutch White power skinhead, skinhead. After being stabbed, Duinmeijer ran to the Dam Square where he tried to take a taxi. The taxi drivers told Duinmeijer to wait for an ambulance, because they are legally not allowed to transport seriously injured passengers. Though that wasn't mentioned in the media around that time, who wrote that the cab driver didn't want blood on his seats. Frank Boeijen
Franciscus Johannes Maria (Frank) Boeijen (born 27 November 1957 in Nijmegen) is a Dutch singer and guitarist. His best known songs are ''Kronenburg Park (Ga die Wereld Uit)'' about a prostitute, ''Zwart Wit'' about the racial murder of Kerwin Duinmeijer in Amsterdam and ''Twee gezichten'' about a split personality. Having been in the music business for 25 years, he received the Edison award for his career achievements in 2005. Biography Frank Boeijen Groep Boeijen grew up in a family of ten children; his older brothers introduced him to Bob Dylan and Neil Young. In 1979 Boeijen released his first album, a joint effort with Wout Pennings produced by singer Rob de Nijs; Henk Wanders (drums) and Nels Busch (bass) were recruited as backing-musicians. Vondelpark
The Vondelpark () is a public urban park of 47 hectares (120 acres) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is part of the borough of Amsterdam-Zuid and situated west from the Leidseplein and the Museumplein.
