Kerry Jonker
Kerry Jonker (born 21 May 1996) is a South African racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team . She lives in Girona, Spain. Before 2020 Jonker rode on an Australian license. In 2018 she won a bronze medal at the Australian National Time Trial Championships in the Women's Under 23 category. Jonker has also competed for Australia in triathlon. She rode in the women's time trial event at the 2020 UCI Road World Championships for South Africa. At the 2022 African Road Championships she won a bronze medal in the individual time trial, and placed 8th in the road race. In 2021 she started her professional career at . Peaks Challenge Falls Creek
The Peaks Challenge Falls Creek (formerly 3 Peaks Challenge) is a challenging cycling event held in the Australian Alps region of Victoria in March each year. It was launched by Bicycle Network in 2010, and aims to provide cyclists with one of the world’s toughest and most picturesque cycling challenges through Victoria’s Alpine region. Starting and finishing at Falls Creek, the 235 km route incorporates more than 4,400 vertical metres with three major climbs – Tawonga Gap, Mount Hotham and Falls Creek. With climbs comparable to a stage in the Tour de France, riders must complete the circuit within 13 hours to receive a "Finisher’s Jersey". In 2013 a special jersey was introduced to recognise those cyclists who complete the event within 10 hours. 2020 UCI Road World Championships
The 2020 UCI Road World Championships is the 93rd edition of the UCI Road World Championships, the annual world championships for road bicycle racing. It took place between 24 and 27 September 2020 in Imola, Italy. The event was originally planned to be held in the Aigle and Martigny area in Switzerland, but this was cancelled on 12 August in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. No under-23 or junior races were contested at the Championships; however, under-23 riders were eligible to compete in the elite races. Courses The road races took place on a course, starting and finishing at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari (a motor racing circuit). The Women's time trial of the 2020 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 24 September 2020 in Imola, Italy. Chloé Dygert was the defending champion. The race was won by Anna van der Breggen of the Netherlands, with Marlen Reusser finishing second, and Ellen van Dijk finishing third.
