Kerry Bennett is a British television and theatre actress. Bennett grew up in Stockport, United Kingdom and began her career aged fourteen acting in theatre productions. She rose to prominence playing the role of Jess Cranham in the BBC medical drama ''Casualty'' and Eva Falco in the soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. Laura Wade
Laura Wade is an English playwright. Early life Wade was born in Bedford, Bedfordshire. She grew up in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, where her father worked for a computer company. After completing her secondary education at Lady Manners School in Bakewell, Derbyshire, she studied drama at Bristol University and was later a member of the Royal Court Theatre Young Writers' Programme. Career Laura Wade's first play, ''Limbo'', was produced at the Sheffield Crucible Studio Theatre in 1996. ''16 Winters'' was produced at the Bristol Old Vic Basement Theatre in 2000. ''Butterfly'' is a three-part British television drama series that premiered on 14 October 2018. Made for ITV by Red Production Company, the series focuses on the family of an 11-year-old child Maxine (Callum Booth-Ford) who begins to realise that she is a transgender girl. Anna Friel and Emmett J. Scanlan play her parents, Vicky and Stephen, who reluctantly begin to accept Maxine's need to transition from male to female. The programme was also broadcast in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Sweden, and made available on the American subscription service Hulu. The series was created by Tony Marchant, who met transgender people and their families during the writing process through trans charity Mermaids. Critical reception was very positive, with reviewers praising the actors and scenes that they found particularly emotive. Sky One
Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast). Originally launched on 26 April 1982 as Satellite Television, it was Europe's first satellite and non-terrestrial channel. Joe Absolom
Joe Absolom (born 16 December 1978) is an English actor known for his roles as Matthew Rose in the BBC soap opera '' EastEnders'' and Al Large in the ITV comedy drama ''Doc Martin''. Early life Absolom was born in Lewisham, London. A former pupil of Forest Hill School, he made early appearances in the Sun-Pat peanut butter advertisements before making his acting debut with the 1991 film ''Antonia and Jane''. Career Absolom joined the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' in 1997 portraying Matthew Rose. He had few storylines in his first year on the show.
