Kerala People's Party
Kerala People's Party was a political party in the Indian state of Kerala, led by actor S. Devan. It was formed on 2004. The party merged with BJP The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP; ; ) is a political party in India, and one of the two major Indian political parties alongside the Indian National Congress. Since 2014, it has been the ruling political party in India under Narendra Mo ... on 7 March 2021 and its leader S. Devan also joined BJP. S. Devan started his political career as a KSU worker while in his college, subsequently worked for Indian National Congress for some time during his college days. Later he part his ways with the Indian National Congress Party and decided to work independently. Devan had also contested in two Kerala Legislative Assembly elections as an independent candidate however lost both the election. S. Devan (actor)
Devan Sreenivasan (born January 8, 1952), is an Indian film and television actor, producer, and politician from Kerala. He is known for his character roles in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu language films. After many second hero and supporting actor roles, he made his breakthrough in the 1987 film ''New Delhi''. He later advanced to a lead actor with films like ''Oru Minnaminunginte Nurunguvettam'' (1987), ''Oozham'' (1988), ''Simon Peter Ninakku Vendi'' (1988) and ''Aranyakam'' (1988). His well-known movies such as ''Vietnam Colony'' (1992), ''Ekalavyan'' (1993), ''Honest Raj'' (1994), ''Baashha'' (1995) and '' Indraprasdham'' (1996). He is also known as 'Devji'. Kerala ( ; ) is a state on the Malabar Coast of India.
