The Kenya national under-19 cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international under-19 cricket. Kenya has qualified for the ICC Under-19 World Cup on four occasions – 1998, 2000, 2002, and 2018. The Flag of Kenya () is a tricolour of black, red, and green with two white edges imposed with a red, white and black Maasai shield and two crossed spears. 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup
The 2020 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in South Africa from 17 January to 9 February 2020. It was the thirteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the second to be held in South Africa. Sixteen teams took part in the tournament, split into four groups of four. The top two teams from each group advanced to the Super League, with the bottom two teams in each group progressing to the Plate League. India were the defending champions. Net run rate (NRR) is a statistical method used in analysing teamwork and/or performance in cricket. It is the most commonly used method of ranking teams with equal points in limited overs league competitions, similar to goal difference in football. The NRR in a single game is the average runs per over that team scores, minus the average runs per over that is scored against them. The NRR in a tournament is the average runs per over that a team scores across the whole tournament, minus the average runs per over that is scored against them across the whole tournament. Uganda National Under-19 Cricket Team
The Uganda Under-19 cricket team represents the nation of Uganda in under-19 cricket at international level. 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup Qualification
The 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand was contested by sixteen teams, eleven of which qualified automatically. The other five places in the tournament were determined by a series of regional qualifiers, with one place being granted to each International Cricket Council (ICC) development region (Africa, the Americas, Asia, East Asia-Pacific, and Europe). The Kenya national cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international cricket. Kenya is an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has Twenty20 International (T20I) status after the ICC granted T20I status to all of their members. They have been an associate member of the ICC since 1981. Since then they have played in five Cricket World Cups from 1996 to 2011 with their best result being a semi-final appearance at the 2003 Cricket World Cup in Southern Africa. The South African Under-19 cricket team have been playing official Under-19 test matches since 1995. International players to have represented the team include Wayne Parnell, Neil McKenzie, AB de Villiers, Mark Boucher, Makhaya Ntini, Kagiso Rabada, Andile Phehlukwayo and Aiden Markram.
