The Kentucky Open is the Kentucky state open golf tournament, open to both amateur and professional golfers. It is organized by the Kentucky Golf Association. Kentucky
Kentucky ( , ), officially the Commonwealth of Kentucky, is a state in the Southeastern region of the United States and one of the states of the Upper South. It borders Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio to the north; West Virginia and Virginia to the east; Tennessee to the south; and Missouri to the west. Its northern border is defined by the Ohio River. Its capital is Frankfort, and its two largest cities are Louisville and Lexington. Its population was approximately 4.5 million in 2020. Kentucky was admitted into the Union as the 15th state on June 1, 1792, splitting from Virginia in the process. Rob Bradley (golfer)
Robert Milner "Rob" Bradley, Jr. (born August 24, 1970 in Green Cove Springs, Florida) is a Republican politician from Florida. He served as a member of the Florida Senate, representing parts of North Central Florida from 2012 until he was term-limited in 2020. History Bradley graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in telecommunications in 1992, and again with a Juris Doctor in 1996. Upon graduating from law school, he worked as an assistant state attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida until 1998, and then worked as a special magistrate for Green Cove Springs. In 2007, Bradley was appointed to the Clay County Commission by then-Governor Charlie Crist following the resignation of previous County Commissioner John E. Thrasher. Jodie Mudd
Joseph Martin "Jodie" Mudd (born April 23, 1960) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour. Professional career Mudd was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, where he developed into an honored amateur golfer. Mudd successfully earned a spot on the PGA Tour during 1983 PGA Tour Qualifying School. Mudd won four PGA Tour events during his career. His top year was 1990, when he finished 5th on the final money list, and won two of the Tour's most prestigious non-majors: the Nabisco Championship and The Players Championship. His best finish in a major championship was T-4 at both The Masters in 1987 and the 1990 Open Championship. Mudd would then become burned out from the grind of Tour play, and would reduce his schedule before leaving the PGA Tour in 1996. Ralph Landrum (born August 16, 1957) is an American professional golfer. Landrum was born in Covington, Kentucky. He played college golf at the University of Kentucky. He turned professional in 1979. His sons, Kyle and Joe, played college golf at Murray State in Kentucky. Landrum played on the PGA Tour from 1983 to 1985. His best finish was a T-2 at the 1984 Danny Thomas Memphis Classic. His best finish in a major was a T-8 at the 1983 U.S. Open. Since his touring career, Landrum founded Landrum Golf Management and continues to work as a PGA Master professional. Ted Schulz
Theodore James Schulz (born October 29, 1959) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and Champions Tour. Schulz was born, raised and has lived his entire life in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended the University of Louisville from 1977 to 1981, and was a member of the golf team. He joined the PGA Tour in 1984. Schulz has 15 top-10 finishes in PGA Tour events including two wins. His career year was 1991 when he had five top-10 finishes including a win at the Nissan Los Angeles Open, and finished 29th on the money list. His best finish in a major championship was T6 at the 1992 Masters Tournament. Schulz lost his Tour card in 1994. After that he played mostly in Nationwide Tour events, where his best finish is a T-13 at the 1995 NIKE Central Georgia Open. Stephen J. Flesch (born May 23, 1967) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions. He was a four-time winner on the PGA Tour, and worked briefly as a TV golf analyst for Fox Sports and Golf Channel before joining the PGA Tour Champions. Early life Flesch was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills, Kentucky. After graduation, he played golf at the University of Kentucky and turned professional in 1990. Professional career Flesch finished in the top ten on the Asia Golf Circuit Order of Merit in 1993, 1994 and 1996.
