The Herr's Snacks 200 is an Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) race at Salem Speedway, currently held in the fall. ARCA first held a race at Salem in 1979 before returning from 1987 to 1989. Races have been consistently held in the fall since 1992 and in April from 1996 to 2019. The April 2020 race was cancelled due to COVID-19, and only the fall race remained on the schedule in subsequent years. Frank Kimmel is the only multi-time winner of the April event, taking four victories. He also won the fall event five times, totaling nine wins at the track. Tim Steele was victorious four times at the track, including winning the fall event three times. Tom Hessert III and Bob Strait are also multi-time winners of the fall event. Automobile Racing Club Of America
The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is an auto racing sanctioning body in the United States, founded in 1953 by John Marcum. The current president of ARCA is Ron Drager, who took over the position in 1996 following the death of Bob Loga. The ARCA Menards Series races stock cars similar to those seen in past years in the NASCAR Cup Series, and indeed most cars used in the Menards Series were previously used in NASCAR. ARCA's competitors contain a mix of both professional racers and hobby racers alike, in addition to younger competitors trying to make a name for themselves, sometimes driving as part of a driver development program for a NASCAR team. Blake Bjorklund
Blake Bjorklund (born September 8, 1985) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He has raced in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Nationwide Series, and the ARCA Re/Max Series. In addition to racing stock cars, he has also raced snowmobiles. Racing career ARCA Re/Max Series Before his venture into NASCAR, Bjorklund raced in the series full-time for one year in 2006. He made a run for Rookie of the Year with Country Joe Racing, a team well known for developing young talents such as Joey Miller and Ryan Hemphill. Dexter Bean
Dexter J. Bean (born January 5, 1987) is an American professional stock car racing driver and crew chief who competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 92 Chevrolet Camaro SS for DGM Racing, and also crew chiefs for the team on occasion. He has also competed part-time in both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in the past, both in 2009. Bradford Coleman (born February 26, 1988) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He mostly ran full or part-time in what is now the NASCAR Xfinity Series, with his last start coming in 2010. Prior to that, Coleman drove part-time in the ARCA Re/Max Series. Joey Miller
Joseph Miller (born January 22, 1985) is an American former professional stock car racing driver in the American Speed Association, the ARCA Re/Max Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Career Miller grew up in the Lakeville, Minnesota, area. He began racing quarter midgets at the age of 12 and eventually ran various hobby stock series races, winning many races. He had 22 starts in the American Speed Association with three top tens. He also competed in the ARCA RE/MAX Series, winning his first start in 2004 and scoring four more wins in his rookie year (2005) with Country Joe Racing. Chad Blount
Chad Blount (born September 4, 1979) is an American former stock car racing driver. He raced in all three of NASCAR's major series, with his last appearance coming in 2010. NASCAR career Nextel Cup Series Blount made his debut in the then-Nextel Cup Series during the 2004 season. Driving the No. 37 R&J Racing Dodge, he attempted two races and was able to make the Tropicana 400, but finished 43rd after a mechanical failure. Jason Anthony Jarrett (born October 14, 1975) is an American race car spotter for 23XI Racing, JR Motorsports, and On Point Motorsports. Dodge is an American brand of automobiles and a division of Stellantis, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Shelby Dean Howard IV (born July 25, 1985) is a NASCAR driver. He is currently a free agent. Racing career Howard began racing in 1996 in Junior Sprints.
