Kent Williams (artist)
Kent Robert Williams (born 1962) is an American painter and graphic novel artist. Williams, a draftsman and painter, has realized his work through various other artistic channels as well; that of the illustrated word and the graphic novel (including ''The Fountain'' with filmmaker Darren Aronofsky), printmaking, photography, design, architecture, and film. A selection of his works on paper, ''Kent Williams: Drawings & Monotypes'', was published in 1991, and ''Koan: Paintings by Jon J Muth & Kent Williams'', was published in 2001. His monograph, ''Kent Williams, Amalgam: Paintings & Drawings, 1992-2007'', with text by Edward Lucie-Smith and Julia Morton, is the most comprehensive collection of Williams' work to date. Louise Simonson
Louise Simonson (née Mary Louise Alexander; born September 26, 1946) is an American comic book writer and editor. She is best known for her work on comic book titles such as ''Conan the Barbarian'', ''Power Pack'', ''X-Factor'', ''New Mutants'', '' Superman: The Man of Steel'', and ''Steel''. She is often referred to by the nickname "Weezie". Among the comic characters she co-created are Cable, Steel, Power Pack, Rictor, Doomsday and the X-Men villain Apocalypse. In recognition of her contributions to comics, Comics Alliance listed Simonson as one of twelve female comics creators deserving of lifetime achievement recognition. Art Center College of Design (stylized as ArtCenter College of Design) is a private art college in Pasadena, California. History ArtCenter College of Design was founded in 1930 in downtown Los Angeles as the Art Center School. In 1935, Fred R. Archer founded the photography department, and Ansel Adams was a guest instructor in the late 1930s. During and after World War II, ArtCenter ran a technical illustration program in conjunction with the California Institute of Technology.
