Kent Predators
The Everett Raptors were a professional indoor football team based in Everett, Washington. The Raptors were member of the Intense Conference of the Indoor Football League (IFL). They played their home games at the Comcast Arena at Everett in Everett. The Raptors franchise was the relocated team previously known as the Kent Predators and later the Seattle Timberwolves. As of 2012, the Everett Raptors are out of the IFL. The parent company filed for bankruptcy, and the team was not in the league in 2012–2013. History The franchise was originally going to play in Wasilla, Alaska as the Arctic Predators, but complications between the ownership and the would-be head coach led to difficulty in obtaining a lease, so the IFL and the Arctic Predators split ways. Comcast Arena At Everett
Angel of the Winds Arena (originally known as Everett Events Center) is a multi-purpose complex in Everett, Washington, United States, designed and developed by the Everett Public Facilities District. It opened in October 2003, with the naming rights being sold to Comcast in 2007 and subsequently to Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in 2017. The 10,000-seat venue has hosted a variety of concerts and other performances, including the Ringling Brothers Circus, Disney on Ice, the Harlem Globetrotters, and Sesame Street Live. The venue also hosted 2008 Skate America, a three-day ice-skating championship featuring world-class skaters. The events were both nationally and internationally televised on NBC. Mike Tatum
Mike Anthony Tatum (born April 29, 1986) is an indoor American football wide receiver for the Bismarck Bucks of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played college football at Oxnard College. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Marion Mayhem in 2009. He played with the Mayhem until their demise during the 2010 season. Tatum then finished the 2010 season with the Fort Wayne FireHawks. Tatum then returned to Marion in 2011, when a new franchise called the Marion Blue Racers expanded into the CIFL. Tatum has also played for the Everett Raptors of the IFL. Tatum is known for his return capabilities, winning Special Teams Player of the Year in 2 different leagues. Jermaine Smith (born February 3, 1972) is a former American Arena Football League player. He went to Laney High School in Augusta, Georgia, US, where he played defensive tackle as well as fullback. John Ulysses Mobley (born October 10, 1973) is a former American football linebacker who played eight seasons for the Denver Broncos from 1996 through 2003 in the National Football League (NFL). He is the cousin of former NBA player Cuttino Mobley. Biography One of nine children born to parents who divorced when he was thirteen years old, Mobley lived with his father until the age of sixteen. After his father suffered a stroke, Mobley moved in with his mother, who demanded he leave high school to help support his family. Mobley spent a year living on the street in an old car before a friend's family took him in. Lacking the academic credentials for a Division I school, Mobley went on to play college football for Kutztown University in 1991.
