Thomas Kenton "Kent" Jones (born June 12, 1964) is a writer and performer on MSNBC's ''The Rachel Maddow Show''. He is a comedy writer who also wrote and performed at Air America Radio. Career A Missouri native, Kent moved to New York City in 1986 and held a variety of journalism jobs working at ''InStyle'' and ''People'' and contributing freelance humor articles to various publications. The Daily Show In 1996, he discovered the 'far more legitimate field of fake news' at ''The Daily Show'' on Comedy Central, where he was a writer for five years. Around this time, Jones was a writer on the TV special Unauthorized Biography: Milo, Death of a Supermodel. Kent Jones (born January 8, 1967) is an American professional golfer. Jones was born in Portales, New Mexico. He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a bachelor's (1990) and master's (1991) degree in business administration. He turned professional in 1992. Jones has played on the Canadian Tour (1993–94), the Hooters Tour (1995), the Nationwide Tour (1996–97, 2000, 2010, 2012–13), and the PGA Tour (1998–99, 2001–09). Daryl Kent Jones (born April 14, 1993) is an American rapper. He is best known for his commercial debut single " Don't Mind", which reached number eight on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. His first mixtape, ''Tours'', was released in the summer of 2015 by Epidemic Records, We the Best Music Group and Epic Records. Early life Daryl Kent Jones was born on April 14, 1993, in Tallahassee, Florida. As a youngster he came in contact with music in his local church, while he was also taught to play the drums by his aunt. Later on Jones started taking formal music lessons, learning to play the piano and the Hammond organ, and studying music theory.
