Kent Jensen
Kent David Jensen, Sr. (born March 31, 1954, in Preston, Idaho) is an American musician. Jensen first started to record and release music while living in Burley, Idaho; where he specialized in immigration and naturalization law for over twenty-two years. He now spends half of the year in Boise, Idaho and the other half in Alajuela, Costa Rica. His music consists of Americana (music), Americana, Folk music, folk, Latin American music, Latin American, rock and World music, world rhythm styles. Kent was a founding member and producer of the short-lived band, Idumea. He sang lead vocals, played lead guitar and synthesizer, keyboard, and wrote the majority of the lyrics. The group recorded a live album in 2003 while on tour in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Hollywood, California and a Christmas music, Christmas album in 2004, both of which were never released. Burley, Idaho
Burley () is a city in Cassia and Minidoka counties in southern Idaho, United States. The population was 10,345 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Cassia County. Burley is the principal city of the Burley, Idaho, Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Cassia and Minidoka counties. Burley is the third-largest city in Idaho's Magic Valley region after Twin Falls, and Jerome. Along with nearby Rupert, it forms the bulk of the "Mini-Cassia" area of southern Idaho. History A post office called Burley has been in operation since 1905. The community was named after David Ellsworth Burley, a railroad official. Geography Most of the city lies in Cassia County, with only a small portion extending into Minidoka County.
