Kenny Ken
Ken Delsol (born 12 December 1969), better known as Kenny Ken, is a British jungle and drum and bass DJ and producer. Biography Kenny was working for London Transport when his first big break came around in 1989 as a result of him being a regular attendee at Crazy Larry's, an early Sunday morning rave. The organizers also promoted the Crazy Club at Busby's, where Kenny became resident DJ alongside Ray Keith and Jumpin Jack Frost. One of his first times playing out was at Labrynth. Kenny would also play on the pirate radio station Centreforce, under the name 'Players Kenny'. He would soon become resident DJ at London nights, ''Sunday Roast'', ''Telepathy'', ''World Dance'', ''AWOL'', and in 1994 won the inaugural ''Jungle Sound Clash'' event. The Four Aces Club
The Four Aces Club was a pioneering music and recreational space on Dalston Lane in Hackney, London. Based in a building that had formerly been the North London Colosseum and Amphitheatre and then a cinema, in the 1960s and 1970s the club became one of the first venues to play black music in the United Kingdom. It was credited with playing a significant "role in the evolution of reggae into dance music, from ska, to rocksteady, to dub, to lovers, to dancehall and the evolution of jungle." Many notable Afro-Caribbean musicians appeared at the Four Aces, which was often referred to as "the jewel in Dalston's crown". Chris Williamson (born 6 May 1987), better known by his stage name Crissy Criss, is a British DJ, radio producer and presenter, who was part of the BBC Radio network BBC Radio 1Xtra. He has also worked under the moniker Dead Exit. Crissy Criss is the stepson of Kenny Ken and was born in Newmarket, Suffolk and raised in Leytonstone. Kiss is a British digital radio station owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Kiss Network. Centreforce also known as 88.3 Centreforce and Centreforce Radio is a former pirate radio station, now legally broadcasting to London, North West England and North Wales on DAB radio. It was instrumental during the Second Summer of Love period of acid house and rave music culture in the UK. Early history Centreforce first broadcast on 8 May 1989, from Newham, East London on the frequency of 88.3 FM.
