Kenny Bynum (American Football)
Kenneth Bernard Bynum (born May 29, 1974) is a former American football running back in the National Football League. He played for the San Diego Chargers (1997–2000). The 5'11", 191 pound running back went to South Carolina State University for college. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and was the 138th overall pick. 1997 NFL Draft
The 1997 NFL Draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 19–20, 1997, at the Paramount Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft this year. Rushing is an action taken by the offense that means to advance the ball by running with it, as opposed to passing, or kicking. Running Rushing, on offense, is running with the ball when starting from behind the line of scrimmage with an intent of gaining yardage. While this usually means a running play, any offensive play that does not involve a forward pass is a rush - also called a run.
