Kenneth John Cameron, Baron Cameron of Lochbroom PC FRSE (born 11 June 1931) is a retired Scottish judge who served as Lord Advocate from 1984 to 1989. Early life He is the son of John Cameron, Lord Cameron (1900–1996), a Senator of the College of Justice. Born in Edinburgh, he was educated at Edinburgh Academy, at Corpus Christi College, Oxford and at the University of Edinburgh, where he obtained a PhD in 1971 presenting the thesis "Anti-Corn-Law agitations in Scotland, with particular reference to the Anti-Corn-Law League". Judicial career He became an Advocate in 1958 and Queen's Counsel in 1972. He was appointed President of the Pensions Appeal Tribunal for Scotland in 1976, and Chairman of the Committee of Investigation under the Agricultural Marketing Act 1958 in 1980. Kenneth Cameron, (21 May 1922 – 10 March 2001) was a British toponymist and academic, specialising in Toponymy of England, English place-names. Having taught at the University of Sheffield from 1947 to 1950, he moved to the University of Nottingham where he spent the rest of his career and was Professor of English Language from 1963 to 1987. From 1966 to 1993, he was Honorary Director of the English Place-Name Society and General Editor of the English Place-Name Survey: he was editor of the Society's ''Journal'' from 1972 to 1990. Honours In 1976, Cameron was elected a Fellow of the British Academy (FBA), the United Kingdom's national academy for the humanities and social sciences. Ken Cameron (9 December 1941 – 16 May 2016) was a Scottish trade unionist. He was the head of the Fire Brigades Union for 20 years, from 1980 to 2000. Early life Born in Fort William to an Irish Catholic mother and a Scottish father, who worked as a linesman for the General Post Office, Cameron attended Fort William Senior Secondary School until he was fifteen. His first job on leaving school was as a cadet in the Inverness-shire Constabulary, but he did not enjoy this and left to become a trainee reporter on the ''Aberdeen Press and Journal''. Thomas Raymond Latimer (born 6 August 1986) is an English professional wrestler and actor. He currently competes for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) as a member of Strictly Business, as well as on the independent circuit.
