Kennedy Cherrington (born 5 January 1999) is an Australian rugby league and rugby union footballer who plays as a for Parramatta Eels in the NRL Women's Premiership and the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the NSWRL Women's Premiership. She previously played rugby union for the NSW Waratahs in the Super W. Also represented Australia at the 2017 Youth Commonwealth Games in the Bahamas. Where her Australian U18s team won Gold. She then represented the Australian Women’s 7s side 2 more times at the 2018 Oceania Games (Fiji) winning Gold and the 2019 Pacific Games (Samoa) winning Silver. Background Born in Sydney, Cherrington grew up in Perth, Western Australia, where she began playing rugby league for the Rockingham Sharks in 2009. Norm Berryman
Norman Rangi Berryman (15 April 1973 – 22 June 2015) was a New Zealand rugby union player who played as a winger and centre. Accessed 1 March 2009 He played one Test for the All Blacks, and represented Northland, the Crusaders and the Chiefs in New Zealand. In France, he played for Castres Olympique and CS Bourgoin-Jallieu. Representative career Berryman first played first class rugby as an 18-year-old for Northland in the National Provincial Championship (NPC), in 1991. The next year he played in the New Zealand (All Black) trial, but wasn't picked for the national team. He continued to play for Northland, and in 1996 joined the Chiefs for the new Super 12. Rugby Sevens At The 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games
The Rugby sevens competition at the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games in Nassau, Bahamas was held in July 2017 at Queen Elizabeth Sporting Complex. A total of 10 nations competed in this tournament. There were 6 teams in the boys event and 6 teams in the girls event. Each team played the other once in the group stage. The 5th and 6th placed teams played the 5th place playoff, the 3rd and 4th played the bronze-medal match and the 1st and 2nd placed teams played the gold-medal match. The Australia men's national rugby sevens team participates in international competitions such as the World Rugby Sevens Series and Rugby World Cup Sevens. The National Rugby League (NRL) is an Australasian rugby league club competition which contains clubs from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory and New Zealand.
