Kenmare GAA (District Team)
Kenmare is a Gaelic Athletic Association District Team from County Kerry. The team competes as a joint divisional side with other clubs from the Kenmare area in the county championships. Most matches are played in Templenoe nowadays but some are played at Father Breen Park, Kenmare. Mickey O'Sullivan
Mickey "Ned" O'Sullivan (born 14 April 1952) is an Irish former Gaelic football manager, selector and former player. His league and championship career at senior level with the Kerry county team spanned ten seasons from 1971 to 1980. Born in Kenmare, County Kerry, O'Sullivan was educated at Coláiste Íosagáin in Ballyvourney where he played Gaelic football. He later played with University College Dublin during his studies there. By this stage O'Sullivan had also joined the Kenmare club team, with whom he won three county intermediate championship medals. He also lined out with the Kenmare District divisional side, and won two county senior championship medals. O'Sullivan made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of eighteen when he was selected for the Kerry minor team. Phil O'Sullivan
Philip O'Sullivan (10 May 1895 – August 1952) was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for a number of clubs in Kerry and Dublin and at inter-county level with the Kerry senior football team. He usually lined out as a defender. Career As a Gaelic footballer, hurler and athlete, O'Sullivan played his football with Lauragh and hurling with Kenmare. While a student in Dublin, he played with Faughs and University College Dublin and later when he took up a teaching post in Ballymacelligott he played with the local team. O'Sullivan first appeared on the inter-county scene as a member of the Kerry junior football team that won the All-Ireland Junior Championship title in 1915. He was subsequently promoted to the senior team and, after being on the losing side to Dublin in the 1923 All-Ireland final, captained the team to the All-Ireland Senior Championship title the following year. Alan O'Sullivan
Alan O Sullivan (born 1987) is a Gaelic footballer from County Kerry. He has played with Kerry at every level and with his club side Tuosist and later Dr Crokes. Club At club level he helped Tuosist to the County Novice title in 2008. He later joined Dr Crokes in Killarney. It was a successful move as in his first season he won a Kerry Senior Football Championship in 2013, he later added a Munster Senior Club Football Championship. Mick Spillane
Mick Spillane (born 8 January 1957) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer. Born to Maura in Templenoe, County Kerry, he played for his local club Templenoe and at senior level for the Kerry county team in the 1970s and 1980s. He is a seven-time All-Ireland SFC winner. Together with his brothers Pat and Tom, the Spillanes hold a record 19 All-Ireland medals between them. Tom Spillane
Tom Spillane (born 1962) was a Gaelic footballer who played for Templenoe and the Kerry county team in the 1980s. Career Maura Spillane gave birth to Tom in Templenoe, near Kenmare, County Kerry in 1962. He was — along with his brothers Pat and Mick — a key member of the successful Kerry Gaelic football teams of the 1980s. He won an All-Ireland Minor Football Championship medal in 1980 before first breaking into the county panel in 1981. Paul O'Connor is an Irish Gaelic footballer with the Kenmare GAA club and Kerry county team. Playing career Paul O'Connor was Kerry's forward in the 2004 and 2005 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship, scoring 6 points in the 2004 final which Kerry lost to Tyrone. The following year, he was selected for the senior panel. The 19-year-old was a shock selection at left corner-forward for Kerry in the Munster Senior Football Championship final against Cork. Seán O'Shea (Irish: ''Seán Ó Sé'') (born 17 July 1998) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Kerry SFC club Kenmare Shamrocks and at inter-county level with the Kerry senior football team. He usually lines out as a forward. Career O'Shea played Gaelic football at juvenile and underage levels with the Kenmare Shamrocks club. Stephen O'Brien (Kerry Footballer)
Stephen O'Brien (born 27 February 1991) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for the Kenmare Shamrocks club and at senior level for the Kerry county team since 2014. His father died in 2014, while his mother runs a bed and breakfast in Kenmare. Underage and junior O'Brien never played with the Kerry minor team. He joined the county's under-21 team in 2011.
