Kenji Wu
Kenji Wu (; born 18 October 1979) is a Taiwanese singer, songwriter, actor and director. Early life Wu was born on 18 October 1979 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. When he was six, he moved to Argentina, but came back to Taiwan to compete in MTV Taiwan's "New Artist Fight Game". He attended the National Taiwan University of Arts majoring in theater. Career After competing in the "New Artist Fight Game" competition in 2000, he was subsequently signed to Virgin Music. Within half a year, Wu released his debut album ''Tomorrow, Alone'' (一個人的Tomorrow). Despite the involvement of top producers, the album received lukewarm response and weak sales. However, this gave him opportunities to act in Taiwanese drama such as ''Peach Girl'' and ''Moonlight Forest''. During his time acting, he continued to perform songs he wrote and composed at pubs. Elva Hsiao
Elva Hsiao (, born 24 August 1979) is a Taiwanese singer, dancer, actress and businesswoman. Since being signed to a record deal in 1998 after competing in a singing competition, Hsiao has gone on to release fourteen studio albums and has achieved great commercial success within the Chinese pop music industry. Known for her R&B influenced ballads, the artist's first album, '' Elva First Album'' (1999), was considered one of the first to incorporate R&B in the Chinese market. Hey Girl was a Taiwanese girl group. Channel held an audition for the show Blackie's Teenage Club (我愛黑澀會), a variety show that aims to create new female entertainers in Taiwan. At the end of 2005, Channel picked nine members to represent the other girls. These nine members were Gui Gui, Ning Er, MeiMei, Apple, Hsiao Hsun, Ya Tou, Hsiao Man, Bae Tung Tung, and Ta Ya. Genie Chuo (; born 20 January 1986) is a Taiwanese singer, actress and television host. Life and career Chuo won several karaoke competitions when she was a first year in the Taipei County Fuho Junior High School. Hsu Ru-yun (born Hsu Hung-hsiu on September 20, 1974), better known as Valen Hsu, is a Taiwanese pop singer-songwriter, author and occasional actress. The Golden Melody Awards (), commonly abbreviated as GMA, is an honor awarded by Taiwan's Ministry of Culture to recognize outstanding achievement in the Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, Hakka, and Formosan-languages popular and traditional music industry.
