Kendall Cross (wrestler)
Kendall Duane Cross (born February 24, 1968) is an American freestyle wrestler, wrestling coach and Olympic gold medalist. He won the gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he wrestled in the 57 kilogram (125.5 pounds) weight class. He defeated Guivi Sissaouri of Canada 5–3 in the final match. Cross also competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics where he placed sixth. Early career In high school, Cross wrestled for Mustang High School in Mustang, Oklahoma where he won a state title. He wrestled collegiately for Oklahoma State University where he was a three time All-American and won the NCAA Championship in 1989. Kendall graduated from OSU with a major in political science and economics. Hardin, Montana
Hardin is a city in and the county seat of Big Horn County, Montana, United States. The population was 3,818 at the 2020 census. It is located just north of the Crow Indian Reservation. Larry Jamill Kelly (born October 25, 1977) is an American freestyle wrestler. He represented the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games where he earned a silver medal. He is currently a part of the University of North Carolina At Chapel Hill Wrestling coaching staff as well as being the head coach for the Tar Heel Wrestling Club RTC in Chapel Hill. Early life Kelly was born in Atwater, California, where he attended Atwater High School and placed fourth in the state wrestling tournament as a senior. He spent one year at Lassen Community College then transferred to Oklahoma State where he became a three time letter winner. 2004 Olympics Though he never won a state high school tournament or a national title in college, Kelly did win the 2004 USA Nationals and the US Olympic trials at 66 kg (145.5 lbs) to represent the US in Athens. Brandon Slay (born October 14, 1975) won an Olympic gold medal for the United States in wrestling. Slay also help found Dallas Dynamite wrestling club in Dallas, TX.
