Kendal Thompson (curler)
Kendal Thompson (born May 14, 1992) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played quarterback at Oklahoma and Utah before transitioning to wide receiver in preparation for the National Football League (NFL). He signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He is the son of Charles Thompson, a famous University of Oklahoma quarterback. High school career As a standout at Southmoore High School, Thompson was an Elite 11 finalist and also earned all-America honors. He competed in the Under Armour All-America Game. After graduating high school early in December 2010, he enrolled at the University of Oklahoma in January 2011. The 2012 Oklahoma Sooners football team represented the University of Oklahoma in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season, the 118th season of Sooner football. Kiowa Tribe
Kiowa () people are a Native American tribe and an indigenous people of the Great Plains of the United States. They migrated southward from western Montana into the Rocky Mountains in Colorado in the 17th and 18th centuries,Pritzker 326 and eventually into the Southern Plains by the early 19th century. Anterior Cruciate Ligament
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation. In the quadruped stifle joint (analogous to the knee), based on its anatomical position, it is also referred to as the cranial cruciate ligament. The term cruciate translates to cross. Bedlam Series
The Bedlam Series is the name given to the Oklahoma–Oklahoma State rivalry. It refers to the athletics rivalry between Oklahoma State University Cowboys and Cowgirls and the University of Oklahoma Sooners of the Big 12 Conference. Both schools were also members of the Big Eight Conference before the formation of the Big 12 Conference in 1996, and both were divisional rivals in the Big 12 South Division prior to 2011. The rivalry will conclude as an annual conference matchup in 2025, when Oklahoma officially joins the Southeastern Conference. 40 years of the rivalry's games were played without the teams playing in the same conference, and it is possible that the series may continue beyond that date.
