Ken Shields (basketball)
Kenneth William Daniel Shields, is a Canadian basketball coach. He holds the most wins in Canadian Interuniversity Sport men's basketball history with the University of Victoria, and is the former head coach of the Canada men's national team. Personal life Shields was born in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. He is married to fellow basketball coach Kathy Shields. He attended the University of British Columbia and majored in Physical Education. Career Shields coached the Victoria Vikes from 1978 through 1989 and oversaw the Vikes win seven consecutive CIS championships. He was named CIS Coach of the Year three times with the Vikes and once during the 1970s and his six years as head coach of Laurentian University. Shields coached the Canadian national team for five years from 1990 to 1994. Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are an American professional basketball team based in Milwaukee. The Bucks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Central Division. The team was founded in 1968 as an expansion team, and play at Fiserv Forum. Steve Konchalski
Stephen J. "Steve" Konchalski (born April 11th, 1945) is an American-Canadian basketball coach who served as head coach of the St. Francis Xavier University men's basketball team from 1975 to 2021. He was the head coach of the Canadian men's national team from 1995 to 1998. Career A native of Elmhurst, New York, Konchalski played for coach Jack Curran at Archbishop Molloy High School before embarking on a college career in Canada in 1962. Acadia University's basketball coach Stu Aberdeen had discovered Konchalski at a tryout which was held at Archbishop Molloy High School in the spring of 1962. John Patrick Donohue, M.S.M. posthumous (June 4, 1931 – April 16, 2003) was an American-Canadian basketball coach. Donohue was the head coach of the senior Canadian men's national basketball team for 16 years, and he led them to several international successes. He was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame, in 2013. Coaching career Donohue served as a basketball coach for St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School. He then served as the head coach of Power Memorial Academy, from 1959 to 1965. At Power Memorial, Donohue had a career win–loss record of 163–30, including winning 71 straight games with the star center of his team, Lew Alcindor (later known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar). Donohue's 1963–64 Power Memorial team was named, "The High School Team of The Century". Donohue went on to work as the head coach of the College of the Holy Cross, from 1965 to 1972.
