Ken W. Roberts (born 13 May 1952) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon and Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Roberts, the son of a Richmond player of the same name, was a utility. He started out in the Essendon Under 19s, after arriving to the club from Essendon Baptists-St John's. In 1978, he became the first American to win a Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship. He was also a two-time winner of the A.M.A. Grand National Championship. Roberts is one of only four riders in American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) racing history to win the AMA Grand Slam, representing Grand National wins at a mile, half-mile, short-track, TT Steeplechase and road race events. Kenny Roberts (born May 12, 1978) is a Seychellois former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle, but also competed in breaststroke and in individual medley. He represented the Seychelles in all three editions of the Olympic Games, since the nation made its comeback in 1992. While studying in the United States, he played for the Bolles School's Sharks Club, under head coach Gregg Troy, and later for the Clemson University's swimming and diving team, also known as the '' Clemson Tigers''. Biography Ken Roberts is the former Chief Librarian of the Hamilton Public Library (Ontario), Hamilton Public Library. His hobby is writing. Ken Roberts has taught Public Library Children's Services at UBC, Children's Literature at Simon Fraser University and Storytelling/Puppetry at the University of Lethbridge.
