Ken Nelson (British Record Producer)
Ken Nelson (born 6 February 1959 in Liverpool) is an English record producer. After several years working on demos and independent artists, he achieved success with Gomez, and worldwide success with the first Coldplay recording. He has also worked with Badly Drawn Boy, Howling Bells, The Charlatans, Kings of Convenience, The Orange Lights, Ray LaMontagne, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini, and Deadbeat Darling. He has won three US Grammy awards, two Mercury Music Prizes, and was "Music Week" magazine's 'Producer of the Year' in 2003. The Canadian singer/songwriter Alana Levandoski began recording her second album with producer Ken Nelson in Kelwood, Manitoba, Canada- at a local church in February 2008. Final sessions for her album took place at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool, England in April and May 2008. Pushing The Senses
''Pushing the Senses'' is the fifth studio album by Welsh rock band Feeder. It was released on Echo, Liberation Music and PIAS on 31 January 2005 in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, while being released on Pony Canyon in Japan on 10 February 2005. Despite mixed reviews, the album was a commercial success, in which it was a top five album in Feeder's native United Kingdom, and its lead single "Tumble and Fall" was a top five single. This made the album Feeder's most successful in terms of peak chart position, but did not experience the same chart longevity as presuccessor ''Comfort in Sound'', which spent 36 weeks on the UK top 75 chart in comparison to the 15 weeks spent by ''Pushing the Senses''. Feeder are a Welsh rock band formed in Newport in 1994. They have released 11 studio albums, 12 compilations, four EPs and 43 singles, spending a combined total of 184 weeks on the singles and albums charts as of 2019, while accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012. ''Bring It On'' is the debut album by English indie rock band Gomez, released on 13 April 1998 by Hut Records. Recording sessions for the album began in late 1997, during which time Gomez also toured the United Kingdom with Embrace. The first single, "78 Stone Wobble", was released in March 1998, while " Get Myself Arrested" and "Whippin' Piccadilly" were later released as singles. Alana Levandoski
Alana Levandoski is a songwriter from Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba, Canada. She was born in Kelwood, Manitoba. Cover versions of her song have been performed or recorded by artists such as Heather Bishop, Jay Semko, Linda Rocheleau, Katy Bowser and Kenny Hutson (Nashville). She has co-written with Gary Nichols, Jim Photoglo, Sylvia Tyson, James LeBanc, Mark Simos, and Colin Cripps, and has worked as a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee and Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
