Kenneth Murray Jr. (born November 16, 1998) is an American football linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oklahoma and was drafted by the Chargers in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Early life Murray attended Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas. He committed to the University of Oklahoma to play college football. College career As a freshman at Oklahoma in 2017, Murray started all 14 games, recording 78 tackles and one sack and was named the co-Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. He again started all 14 games his sophomore year in 2018, recording 155 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Following a junior year where he was named to the First-team All-Big 12. Kenneth Crosswaithe Murray (1903 – 21 April 1972) better known as K.C. Murray was an English art curator and teacher. The second son of the chess historian H. J. R. Murray and his suffragette wife Kate Crosthwaite, Murray was an elder brother of educationalist and biographer Elisabeth Murray, and a grandson of Sir James Murray, editor of the ''Oxford English Dictionary''. He first studied at Balliol College, Oxford but later left in order to study art at the School of Arts and Crafts, Birmingham. Arriving in Lagos, Nigeria on December 14, 1927. He undertook book illustrations in Oyo, Oyo (south west Nigeria) and inspections of the Arts and Crafts Schools in Kano and Katsina before returning to Lagos in January 1928 to teach arts at Kings College, Queenss College, and the Government School. Ken Murray (born Kenneth Abner Doncourt, July 14, 1903 – October 12, 1988) was an American comedian, actor, radio and television personality and author. Early life Murray was born in New York City to a family of vaudeville performers. Many sources incorrectly give his birth name as Don Court. He had an older brother, Joseph. According to Murray's autobiography ''Life on a Pogo Stick'', as a teenager he learned that Joseph was actually his father and the couple who he thought were his parents were in fact his grandparents. The family withheld the truth from Murray because Joseph, who was also a vaudevillian, did not want the public to know that he had a young son. Joseph had divorced Murray's mother and decided that his parents would provide a more stable life than he was able to as a traveling performer. Ken Murray is a retired family medical doctor who had a private practice of general medicine in Studio City, California for about 25 years, until his retirement in 2006. He also held a Clinical Assistant Professorship in Family Medicine at the University of Southern California, until his retirement. Murray is most notable for the national attention created by the publication of his article on end-of-life issues, titled "How Doctors Die", which went viral on the internet. It generated a national conversation on issues related to patient wishes at their end of life, and quality issues related to that. Ken Murray (24 April 1931 – 2 October 2007) was a reforming prison officer in Scotland during the last third of the twentieth century. He was educated at Inverness Technical High School. He worked as a Coachbuilder until his late twenties when he joined the Scottish Prison Service. His most notable achievement was the creation of the special unit of Barlinnie Prison which housed some of the most violent prisoners in the system, including Jimmy Boyle. The unit was based on treating both staff and prisoners as part of a community in which all had a voice in making decisions and setting programmes. Ken Murray (basketball Coach)
Ken Murray is a Canadian professional and college basketball coach. Career Murray played college basketball at Brock University from 1972 to 1977. He was the Brock Badgers' Most Valuable Player in each season and was presented with Conference All-Star accolades four times (1973–1976). Murray closed out the 1973-74 season as the third leading scorer in the country. In the 1974-75 campaign, he ranked first nationally in free-throw shooting. He became the all-time leading scorer and rebounder in the Ontario Universities Athletic Association (OUAA). In 1978, he had his jersey number (#50) retired. Murray was appointed head coach of the University of Regina men's basketball team in 1982. He turned around a program that had won only a single game over the previous four seasons and had lost 62 consecutive games.
