Kenneth Carl Frank Sr. is an artist whose work has appeared in role-playing games. Works Ken Frank produced interior illustrations for many ''Dungeons & Dragons'' books and ''Dragon'' magazine throughout the 1990s, as well as cover art for the adventure modules ''Flames of the Falcon'' and '' Falconmaster'' (1990). ''Spellfire: Master the Magic'' is an out-of-print collectible card game (CCG) created by TSR, Inc. and based on their popular ''Dungeons & Dragons'' role playing game. The game appeared first in April 1994, shortly after the introduction of ''Magic: The Gathering'', in the wake of the success enjoyed by trading card games. ''Dragon Dice'' is a collectible dice game originally made by TSR, Inc., and is produced today by SFR, Inc. It is one of only a handful of collectible dice games produced in the early 1990s. The races and monsters in ''Dragon Dice'' were created by Lester Smith and include some creatures unique to a fantasy setting and others familiar to the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' role-playing game. The game simulates combat between armies of fantasy races for control of a young world named Esfah. ''Dragon Dice'' classifies magical power by element: air, earth, fire, water, and death. ''Traveller'' is a science fiction role-playing game first published in 1977 by Game Designers' Workshop. Marc Miller designed ''Traveller'' with help from Frank Chadwick, John Harshman, and Loren Wiseman. Editions were published for GURPS, d20, and other role-playing game systems. From its origin and in the currently published systems, the game relied upon six-sided dice for random elements. ''Traveller'' has been featured in a few novels and at least two video games. Game Designers' Workshop (GDW) was a wargame and role-playing game publisher from 1973 to 1996. Many of their games are now carried by other publishers. History Game Designers' Workshop was originally established June 22, 1973. The founding members consisted of Frank Chadwick, Rich Banner, Marc Miller, and Loren Wiseman. GDW acquired the Conflict Games Company from John Hill in the early 1970s. GDW published a new product approximately every twenty-two days for over twenty years.
