Ken Brown (born March 12, 1944, Dayton, Ohio) is an American filmmaker, photographer, cartoonist, and designer. He grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts, relocated to Cambridge, Massachusetts, and currently lives in New York City. He has directed dozens of animations, experimental films, and video documentaries since the late 1960s. Films In 1967-69 Brown used Super 8 mm film, Super 8mm to create psychedelic imagery for the light shows at the Boston Tea Party (concert venue), Boston Tea Party club. His animated films have been seen on AMC (TV network), AMC, MTV, VH1, and ''Sesame Street''. Ken Brown (footballer)
Kenneth Brown (born 16 February 1934) is an English former football player and manager. As player, he made more than 400 appearances in the Football League representing West Ham United, where he spent the majority of his career, and Torquay United, and was capped once for the England national team. As manager, he took charge of Norwich City, Shrewsbury Town and Plymouth Argyle. Playing career Brown was playing for local Dagenham side Neville United when he signed professional for West Ham United on 16 October 1951. He quickly made his way into the reserve side, but first team football was much harder to come by, his debut eventually coming in February 1953 against Rotherham United as a replacement for Malcolm Allison. His first five years as a professional saw him only make occasional appearances for the Hammers, although national service between 1952 and 1954 did not help. Kenneth John Brown (born 9 January 1957) is a former Scottish golfer, who now works as a golf broadcaster and writer. He won the 1987 Southern Open on the PGA Tour and won four times on the European Tour. He played in five Ryder Cup matches between 1977 and 1987. Amateur career Brown had a brief period as an amateur. In 1974 he won the Carris Trophy, the English Boys Amateur Stroke-Play Championship at Moor Park. Despite a last round 81 he finished two strokes ahead of Paul Downes and Sandy Lyle. Later in 1974 he represented England boys in their international against Scotland, an England team that also included Nick Faldo and Sandy Lyle. After leaving school, Brown had been a greenkeeper at his home club of Harpenden Common before becoming an assistant professional at Verulam Golf Club in late 1974. Kenneth Murray Brown (December 19, 1948 – July 22, 2022) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He played one game in the National Hockey League with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1971, and 52 games in the World Hockey Association with the Alberta/Edmonton Oilers between 1972 and 1975. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1968 to 1975, was spent in the minor leagues. Playing career Brown won the Canadian Major Junior Hockey League (CMJHL) Goaltender of the Year and was named to the CMJHL First All-Star Team in 1967, and signed a free agent contract with the Dallas Black Hawks of the Central Hockey League, the Chicago Black Hawks minor league affiliate. Kenneth Brown (born 20 August 1940 – ) was a British guitarist with The Quarrymen, a precursor to The Beatles. Early life Brown was born in Enfield, Middlesex in August 1940, but moved with his family to Liverpool the following year. Career Ken Brown was a member of the Les Stewart Quartet with Les Stewart, George Harrison, and Geoff Skinner. Mona Best opened The Casbah Coffee Club on 29 August 1959, and Brown arranged for the quartet to be its resident band. When Brown missed rehearsals to help decorate The Casbah, Stewart refused to play. Brown and Harrison recruited John Lennon and Paul McCartney at short notice to help them fulfil the residency, and used the name of The Quarrymen.
