Kelvin Sheppard
Kelvin Anthony Sheppard (born January 2, 1988) is a former American football linebacker and coach who is the inside linebackers coach for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at LSU. Professional career Buffalo Bills The Buffalo Bills selected Sheppard in the third round (68th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. Indianapolis Colts On April 29, 2013, Sheppard was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for Jerry Hughes. He played in 15 games with seven starts in 2013, recording 46 tackles and one sack. In gridiron football, a sack occurs when the quarterback (or another offensive player acting as a passer) is tackled behind the line of scrimmage before throwing a forward pass, when the quarterback is tackled behind the line of scrimmage in the " pocket" and without clear intent, or when a passer runs out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage due to defensive pressure. Kirk Daniel Cousins (born August 19, 1988) is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan State and was drafted by the team then known as the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft as a backup to fellow rookie Robert Griffin III. Cousins occasionally appeared in games during his first three seasons before replacing Griffin following an injury in 2015, where he remained the team's starter until 2017. Jerry Ray Hughes Jr. (born August 13, 1988) is an American football defensive end for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at TCU, where he was twice recognized as a consensus All-American before being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Hughes has also played for the Buffalo Bills.
