Kelvin Sanjaya (born November 27, 2000) is an Indonesian professional basketball player for Prawira Bandung of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL). He played college basketball for the UPH Eagles. High school At SMA 1 Balikpapan he was selected as a DBL All-Star in 2017 where they sent the All-Star team to Los Angeles. Prawira Bandung
Prawira Bandung is an Indonesian basketball club based in the city of Bandung, West Java province. It was founded by Lilian Wijaya in 1991 as Hadtex Indosyntec. The club is a member of the Perbasi's top division since 1994. They won championships in 1994, 1997, and 1998. The club's most recent victory was in the 2010 Jakarta Governor's Cup event, where it won the championship. History According to the official club website, Garuda Bandung was founded in 1991 by Lilian Wijaya, and carried the name Hadtex Indosyntec. 2024 FIBA Men's Pre-Qualifying Olympic Qualifying Tournaments
The 2024 FIBA Men's Pre-Qualifying Olympic Qualifying Tournaments were five basketball tournaments that were contested by 40 national teams, where the top teams earned a place in the 2024 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. The tournaments were held between 12 and 20 August 2023. Hosts selection The tournaments were held in Nigeria, Argentina, Turkey, Poland, Estonia and an Asian country to be named, which was later announced to be Syria. Format There were five qualifying tournaments with the teams split per their continent (Europe has two tournaments) and played a tournament in a single venue. The winning team advanced to the Olympic Qualification tournament. Indonesia's National Basketball Team
The Indonesia men's national basketball team represents the Republic of Indonesia in international basketball competitions. The governing body of the team is the ''Persatuan Bola Basket Seluruh Indonesia'' (Indonesian Basketball Association – ''PERBASI''). Its biggest success was the gold medal at the 1996 South East Asian Championship. Team Indonesia is one of the major teams in Southeast Asia. The team finished among the top-four teams in Asia at the 1967 Asian Basketball Championship. At the 1996 SEABA Championship, Indonesia was the dominant country and won the gold medal. At the 1997 SEA Games in Jakarta, Indonesia failed to get a medal. Then, two years later Indonesia won the bronze medal at the Brunei 1999 SEA Games. Developmental Basketball League (DBL), previously named DetEksi Basketball League, is a basketball league for middle and high school students in Indonesia. History DBL began in Surabaya in 2004. The league originated by ''Jawa Pos'' newspaper as a simple high school league. The ''DetEksi'' term of its original name came from a former teenager section of the paper. A total of 96 teams joined in the first season, from cities throughout East Java. In 2007 more than 55,000 spectators watched games. This was a four-fold increase on 2004's figures, and a total of 220 teams competed. East Java DBL subsequently divided into two regions: North in Surabaya; and South in Malang.
