Kelsey Robinson
Kelsey Marie Robinson Cook (born June 25, 1992) is an American indoor volleyball player of the United States women's national volleyball team. Robinson won gold with the national team at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, 2014 World Championship, the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, Rimini Volleyball Nations League, and the Volleyball at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's tournament, 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, and bronze at the Volleyball at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's tournament, 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Early life Robinson was raised in Bartlett, Illinois. She attended St. Francis High School (Wheaton, Illinois), St. Francis High School and graduated in 2010. 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup
The 2019 FIVB Women's World Cup was the 13th edition of the event, contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The tournament was held from 14 to 29 September 2019 in Japan. This was the first time that the FIVB did not distribute Olympics places since 1991 due to Japan hosting the 2020 Summer Olympics, but points for the FIVB World Rankings were given. China won their historic fifth title, following titles from 1981, 1985, 2003, and 2015. China surpassed Cuba's earlier record of four titles in the history of the competition. The FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The first tournament took place between May and July 2018, with the final taking place in Nanjing, China. United States won the inaugural edition, defeating Turkey in the final. In July 2018, the FIVB announced that China would host the next three editions of the women's Volleyball Nations League Finals, from 2019–2021, but on March 13, 2020 the FIVB decided to postpone the Nations League until after the 2020 Summer Olympics due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 24th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 teams from 3 June to 10 July 2016. The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was an annual women's volleyball competition created in 1993. The men's version of the competition was called World League. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup.
